Stock Throughput

This is type of policy often used in the manufacturing industries to comprehensively cover the product from the raw state until being delivered as a finished product.

The policy commences when the Assured purchases the raw materials, through all transits to a factory/distribution warehouse and finally to the manufacturing plant or project site. This type of policy will include incidental storage until final delivery to the end user customer.

By combining traditional general cargo policies and a separate stock policy into one Stock through Put policy, this contract will produce a premium saving and also prevents overlap in coverage, but more importantly avoids gaps in coverage between transit and storage policies.
