As our name suggests London Special Risks (LSR) was founded in 1990 at the heart of the World's insurance market. Our primary objective was to deliver excellence in both product and service across the broad range of transportation risk specialities.

Today the company has a strong presence in marine insurance throughout the World through working partnerships with local brokers and related offices for instance in London, New York, Bergen, Oslo, Singapore and Seoul.

We thrive on the challenge of bringing the client together with suitable insurers and where desirable financial partners and our ability to succeed stems from understanding the clients business and presenting the assimilated information to underwriters in order for an informed approach to be taken to the assessment of the risk. This inevitably creates the potential for a long term relationship which in turn leads to a platform for delivering enduringly competitive terms.

We are confident of maintaining the highest professional standards. Our commitment is demonstrated by achieving International accreditation standard ISO 9002 from Lloyd's Register of Shipping and by successfully migrating to the standard ISO 9001:2000 which encompasses performance monitoring.
